Costs of getting a probate at DIFC courts in Dubai

In case you have a DIFC (worldwide) Will and you passed away, your executor has to get a probate at the DIFC courts in order to provide your beneficiaries what they’re entitled to. This probate order can be used for example to “unfreeze” bank accounts in the United Arab Emirates. With the probate order the executor can also go to the Dubai Land department to change the ownership (title deed) of real estate in the UAE.
The costs for this procedure at DIFC are AED 5500 to grant the probate, and AED 367
for the enforcement.
